Why are your chambers so much less than the others on the market?

We had researched for countless hours and days and have talked with parents and individuals who were seeking hyperbaric chambers, but could not find an affordable solution. After realizing this great need, Summit to Sea was formed to help assist families and individuals who are seeking these solutions. It is our desire to get as many chambers in the hands of people who need them. Since our main channel of business is on the internet, we do not have the overhead of larger companies, we do not have expensive marketing costs, and we partner with resellers who share in our same values and goals. More expensive doesn’t always mean better.

Is this an American product?

Yes, our models are “Made in the USA” or “Assembled in the USA” using high-quality materials from our partners in Europe and the United States.

Yes, it has been cleared by the FDA to treat Acute Altitude Sickness, 510K 072757 under Summit to Sea, LLC.

FDA rules FRAUDULENT!

When we made the decision to start Summit to Sea we had great enthusiasm and excitement that we were going to be able to help many people. We thought that this was going to be a great professional environment.

But unfortunately, we found it to be quite different. As you can imagine, anything can be posted on the internet these days. We started to see attacks against Summit to Sea that were not true. Then the FDA informed us that there were Adverse Event Reports filed against us on July 31, 2012.

We have worked with the FDA during this whole process. When the FDA interviewed the person who operates the facility where the alleged incident was suppose to have taken place they stated that there was nothing true about the facts stated. When they asked “Who filed this report?” the investigator gave the name of the president of one of our competitors.

We are sure that you have heard enough of the constant mud slinging that goes on in politics. Well, unfortunately, it has also happened to us. Ask yourself, do I want to buy from someone criticizing the competition or buy from someone who explains why they have a great product?

Summit to Sea has decided to continue to be positive and act with integrity. We will continue to make an excellent product and provide superb customer service.

After the FDA investigated this matter they came to the conclusion that these reports were FRAUDULENT as stated by the Director at the FDA:

"Based on the information we had, we determined that there was credible evidence that the MDR reports are fraudulent and will be removing the MDR reports from the public database. This process will be updated on the next Public MAUDE release."
